Remote

Cologne is our hub for worldwide live-remote productions.
Outside broadcast without travel
Not on site, but still live
From Cologne, we remotely control live productions around the world. Our technical setup is installed by efficient teams on site and connected to our remote control room. Graphics, highlights creation, editing, and recording also take place in Cologne. All of this is safe, with low latency and high quality, whether via SRT or peer-to-peer.
This way, we save costs, are super flexible, and improve our CO2 footprint.
And with the press of a button, we go live minimising our on-site presence.

Remote Production on a Global Scale
Freestyle Chess – Precision and Vision in Remote Broadcasting
Freestyle Chess is reimagining the game – and we are reimagining live production. From the very first event at Weissenhaus Grand Village, we have been delivering this innovative tournament format remotely. The second tour stop, held at the Palais in Paris, was also produced entirely from our hub in Cologne.
On-site, 45 cameras and a carefully designed setup across six chessboards were in use. From two remote control rooms in Cologne, we produced eight parallel streams that were broadcast globally on over 200 channels, including DAZN, chess.com, TikTok, Twitch, and many other platforms.
What appears seamless to the audience is, behind the scenes, a highly precise orchestration of camera technology, signal routing, and clearly defined production workflows. All control – including directing, video switching, audio, highlights, and graphics – is handled centrally from our Remote Operation Centre in Cologne.
For us, remote production doesn’t mean being distant from the action – it means more efficient workflows, scalable flexibility, and consistently high quality. While the next strategic move is made on the board, everything behind the scenes runs reliably and with structure.
